KITA KITA (I See You) Movie

Pisti. Be a Tonyo in this world full of Nobu. Pwede ba!

APAT. Apat na salitang di ko makakalimutan "Only time can tell." Tagos eh!

LIMA.

Why is It Important to Get Out of Our Comfort Zone?

Getting out of our comfort zone is very Important. Simply because we have to. We need to adopt to the constant changes that are happening around us.

Our mindset has to evolve and mature. Our brain can hold so much thoughts that must be put to focus.

Imagine the universe, imagine how big our galaxy is. That's how big our brain I think.

Human brain is not proportional to human body size. Our brain is a huge thing. We do sometimes feel like we know nothing, while other feels that they know a lot.

There is so much space for us to belittle ourselves and feel like we are nothing. The truth is, we knew a lot and have learn a lot as we spend this lifetime, it's just that, our thoughts were scattered. We do not know what we really want, we got confused and somehow lost as if there are these dark big spaces that's still unoccupied.

Can we fill-in those spaces? The answer is, IT DEPENDS.

Simply because once we learn something, we get used to it, then, boom! that's it! It becomes a routine and somehow boring.

What we have to understand here is that, we, as human being, are wired to change and to grow.

We just can't stay in one zone forever. We must continue learning.

There is so much to life, so much to experience. Don't focused on what was lost and what's not there. Create new boxes to fill in. Focused on those boxes so you won't notice the vast in your thoughts and get lost.

Give yourself a favor. Learn new skills, new knowledge, new environment.

Get out of your comfort zone. Travel. Read books. Study the bible. Know your creator. Meet new people, Cherish the old. Live life to the fullest! :)

ACCEPTING SOMEONE'S PAST

In my early 20’s, as conventional as it may sound, I wanted my partner to have never had a girlfriend before. I wanted to be his first and last. And whomever I choose to be my boyfriend, I wanted him to be my husband.

The Reason Behind.

As much as possible, I don't want a partner who invested so much emotion with someone else.
I don't like the thought of him already had both emotional and physical intimacy. I believe that those things should be reserve for marriage.

So I have lived that standard and had a boyfriend who never really had a girlfriend before. Despite of that fact, things did not work well for us. He loved a woman before me and he still loves her while being in relationship with me. Epic failed.

The Lord is Sovereign.

The Lord changed me after that season of my life. He opened my eyes to the truth that sometimes things will not work out the way we wanted it to be. Sometimes because of our stubbornness or may be that needs to happen for us to grow. He is sovereign.

4 THINGS TO AVOID REGRET

This blog was written with one thing in mind; that other people might learn from these things and avoid doing the same.

1. Do not hurry getting a job just to please people or just to say that you are not job less after graduating. THINK CAREFULLY. Your first job most likely dictate the future of your career. It will affect your career growth, your growth as a person, your intellect, your financial freedom and your self-esteem. In most cases, career shifting is very tedious.

2. Do not fall in love with someone who is already in love with someone else. It is like banging your self on a wall. It will drain all your energy and happiness. It will change you as a person; bitter or better, your choice.

3. Do not force yourself to be in sync with your friends/colleagues lifestyle if your income cannot sustain it yet. This will only leave you broke and struggling with your finances.

4. Do not force yourself to maturity because time and circumstances will bring you there whether you like it or not. If given the chance, maximize your youth but NOT in expense of your health... :). Enjoy as much as you can. Because when quarter life crisis sink-in to your soul that's the time you will search for deeper meaning about everything.

It is true that regrets are inevitable but what important is that we enjoy the experience we had and learned from it.

Word of God that we can fonder in times of regret:

"...I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead" - Phil 3:13

GET OVER. TRUST GOD.

To get over from a love that turn into sour is not an easy task. Patience, wisdom, acceptance, forgiveness, understanding and courage are the little steps to keep yourself going.

I usually hear that when someone gets over on a past relationship, one of the best revenge is a “who you?” reply whenever you received a text message. I learned that it is wrong. It is still part of your bitterness. Something that we should not allow to continue living a good life.
'The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it? '– Jeremiah 17:9
Just to let you know, I’m a person who will do everything that I can do for someone important. I can think of ways to make things work the way I wanted it to be. Best effort as what they called it. It’s my love language. Until the day I realized that it is too much, I am already trying to control things. Fears and doubt awakens. I am even jealous of a friend thinking she might affect our relationship, and yes jealousy gets in! Imagine that.

IT'S NOT ABOUT US

From this past season of brokenness that I've been through, I really wanted to write on how God has changed me. My perspective, my view of Him as my God, as my father and my savior.

I just don’t know how to put it into words. But let me share it to you this way.

"My apology for some wrong grammar you might find..I'm still learning how to write.. :)"
"Credits to h3sean and dimples. Thanks to both of you."

Most of the time, as Christians, we tend to try to be perfect, we are so harsh to ourselves to the point that our world becomes small.

We do things, we sin, we forget what is right from what is wrong then we put all the blame to us. As if the world only turn for us.

In this recent season, I learned that it is not about us, our selfish ways and our selfish desires.
We have to remember the grace that God has given to us. At times we forget about it. We do all the works that makes us no different from the Pharisees.

Remember, It is not about us but about His glory, about which things will bring Him honor.

Every day we should ask for His grace for us to be obedient. By asking that, we are actually accepting the fact that we cannot do it on our own.

We are His disciples, His student, His follower. From every situation we are being changed from glory to glory. The mere fact is, this whole life are being spent for us to learn His character.

People come and go. You sometimes have to let go of some even if they are a blessing to you. You have to commit yourself in trusting God. Believing that everything works for good.

Desiring to change and surrender something to God is the first step. But that’s as far as it goes. After all has been said and done, it’s the little decisions you’ve made that will matter. It’s the little compromises that you’ve allowed yourself to indulge in that will break you. There are things in life that we sacrifice to God and give up to Him in our hopes and expectations that He will help us through. But somehow we find ourselves wanting to get a taste of that which we just surrendered. It’s natural for us to look back and compromise and long for the things that we told ourselves we’d never have anything to do with again. There was one time that I surrendered to God lately – but I found myself wanting to compromise the commitment. I wanted to go around and find loopholes in the very commitment that I surrendered up to Him. Imagine that.My heart was all for the commitment during the time that I gave it up. But the heart is deceptive above all things. Sooner than later, I found myself wanting to work my way through the commitment I made little by little – until I was surprised that I have broken it completely. That blemished commitment that I made became no commitment at all and left me feeling sorry for myself. - h3sean

Therefore, In everything we should acknowledge Him, ask for His opinion, His directions. Whether it’s about our career, relationship with the opposite sex, family and personal longings.

Let him guide you. Honor God and He will honor you. Remember, It is not about us.
