To get over from a love that turn into sour is not an easy task. Patience, wisdom, acceptance, forgiveness, understanding and courage are the little steps to keep yourself going.
I usually hear that when someone gets over on a past relationship, one of the best revenge is a “who you?” reply whenever you received a text message. I learned that it is wrong. It is still part of your bitterness. Something that we should not allow to continue living a good life.
'The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it? '– Jeremiah 17:9Just to let you know, I’m a person who will do everything that I can do for someone important. I can think of ways to make things work the way I wanted it to be. Best effort as what they called it. It’s my love language. Until the day I realized that it is too much, I am already trying to control things. Fears and doubt awakens. I am even jealous of a friend thinking she might affect our relationship, and yes jealousy gets in! Imagine that.
So I told to myself, “How about trusting God, Pau?”.
I don’t understand how it works, I was asking for wisdom and God did not fail me. As He said in His word,
'Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.' – Jeremiah 33:3Right there and then God told my heart, “Pau, get over, let go, trust me.” It was like a light bulb that lit both in my heart and mind that brings clarity. There was so much peace and joy that I was in awe of Him. His grace lead me to know how to trust Him and let go.
Truly we cannot trust someone we do not know. We have to seek His face every day. Every morning we should ask Him to engineer our lives.
It was hard at first but His grace is sufficient enough. Just tell Him everything.
